Southwest Airlines is currently offering a nationwide sale for 40% off on their discounted Wanna Get Away fares. Tickets must be purchased by Thursday (October 11) for travel between November 28 and December 12 or between January 7 and February 14. So, no holiday travel, but you might be able to fit in a ski trip or some other upcoming travel. Use code BIGDEAL40.
What I like about this promotion is that, while many Southwest (and other airline) sales are very city-specific, this one is fairly all-encompassing. The only routes excluded are Austin-Orlando, Detroit-Phoenix, Orlando-Phoenix, and any travel on a Sunday. There are also a few more restrictions you can read about here with certain airports blacked on on specific dates.
You’ll notice I don’t fly them very often, but I actually have a $100 voucher lying around. I may have to go back and re-live my college days
