Disney Discounts from Alamo This Holiday Season

Alamo is offering up to 20% savings on rentals booked through January 31, 2013, to celebrate the opening of the new Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure. This savings is on the base rate and might vary by date/location/vehicle type, so do make sure to compare it with any other rental discounts you normally have available.

To receive the Cars Land 20% savings, go to www.disney.com/alamo and book by using the code CARSLAND in the I.D./Corp. I.D. box. Yes, this does work for rental locations other than those near Disneyland. I just checked and was offered a 10% discount at SFO over Christmas.

I saw Cars Land under construction when I was there last April. While Cars the one Pixar movie I didn’t care for, the park did look like a lot of fun. Alamo happens to also be the official sponsor of the ride Luigi’s Flying Tires, which is very popular. California Adventure has certainly matured and improved since it first opened several years ago.     I was at disney this past weekend and the new Cars ride was awesome IMO. The line was over 3 hours long, 45 min in the single rider lane so make sure you get your Fast Pass.
