Here it is, your second chance to fly up front. Dave generously donated eight systemwide upgrades for use on an American Airlines-operated flight through the end of this month. Remember, they expire after February 28, so only travel this month is eligible. Read more about which flights are eligible for a systemwide upgrade.
Prizes
I’m giving one more to Michael from the earlier contest so he can travel up front with his wife. That leaves seven upgrades. I’ll be handing them out in pairs, so there will be three winners of two upgrades each and another winner of one upgrade only. This is great if you’re traveling with a companion or have both outbound and return legs booked in February.
Entry
We need to keep things quick so that people can take advantage of their prizes. Entries begin now and will end at 9 PM Pacific Time tomorrow, on February 14. Consider this a platonic Valentine’s Day gift.
You may enter in four ways, and I will pick one winner from each method.
You can comment on this blog post. Anything is fine. You get one upgrade for this method. The winners of the other methods below will each receive two upgrades.
You can tweet, just like before. Follow @HackMyTrip on Twitter and use the hashtag #flyfirst to tell me which flight you want to get upgraded.
You can post a comment on Facebook in response to this blog post (I’ll re-post it right now). You don’t actually have to “like” the blog page, but you do have to post a comment.
You can check out the “new” Google Plus page for Hack My Trip. There was always one before, but I never really updated it. I’m making a new effort, in part because I think it will be a good way to share extra photos and videos from my trips that I don’t include in the formal trip reports. You can get a direct link to the photo page and see a few things I’ve put up, or just visit the main page to post a comment.
Winners
I’ll announce the winners on Friday, February 15.
Since these are Dave’s upgrades, I’ll pass along the names to him, but ultimately he is responsible for prize fulfillment. I will do my best to make sure you get in touch and are able to pass along your names and reservation details so he can call the reservations desk and process them. Let’s all thank Dave for taking the time to help out a few strangers!
