Seattle is a great place to fly to. Sea-Tac is a nice airport, clean, well-staffed by friendly people (even the TSA aren't too bad). The new LINK light rail connects downtown and Seattle with trains every 10-20 minutes and will eventually extend to the northern reaches of the city.
